Our Certification Process

Six checks. One documented standard.

Every CashKar Certified™ device follows the same defined workflow before its condition, health and certification results are issued.

01Step 01

Identity & Status Verification

IMEI, PTA status, blacklist status, network status and Activation Lock are checked.

02Step 02

Functional & Battery Diagnostics

Display response, cameras, audio, charging, connectivity, sensors and battery health are tested.

03Step 03

Data Handling

Accepted trade-in devices are prepared for secure data erasure under the applicable process and customer consent.

04Step 04

Cosmetic Inspection

The screen surface, enclosure, frame, back glass, camera lenses and visible wear are assessed.

05Step 05

Score & Certification

Results are translated into the CashKar Health Score™ and CashKar Score™.

06Step 06

Device Passport Issued

The results are recorded in the CashKar Device Passport™ and linked to the individual device.

Technology supports the testing process. CashKar applies its disclosed grading and certification standards to the final device record.

Certification applies only to devices offered as CashKar Certified™.

Condition & Health

Two measures. Clearly separated.

Cosmetic Grade describes how the device looks. Battery Health reports maximum capacity. Both are disclosed separately so nothing is mixed into a single vague claim.

Pristine. Like-new condition with no visible marks from normal viewing distance.

Minor signs of use; faint marks barely visible from normal viewing distance.

Visible signs of use, including light scratches or small marks.

Noticeable cosmetic wear, but the device remains fully functional.

Cosmetic Grade does not replace functional diagnostics or battery-health disclosure.

The exact battery-health percentage is disclosed on the Device Passport™ for every certified device.

Functionality is assessed separately.

Certified devices must pass functional diagnostics. Warranty cover under CashKar Protect™ depends on the approved device, model and condition policy.

Final grade and battery health are confirmed after physical inspection and diagnostics.
